Editorial policy
Rural Public Review aims to make rural public-life topics clear, accurate and fair. We separate explanation from opinion and make the limits of an article plain.
Accuracy and clarity
We check names, descriptions and factual statements against suitable material before publication. We use precise wording, explain important terms and avoid claims stronger than the information supports. When a subject depends on local arrangements, we say so rather than implying a single rule applies everywhere.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for reader relevance and clarity. A partner relationship does not guarantee coverage, a favourable view or control over editorial conclusions. We do not present promotional claims as independent reporting.
Corrections
Readers can flag possible errors through the Contact page. We review specific, verifiable concerns and correct material when warranted; significant changes are identified in the article so readers can understand what changed.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid or partner-supported material is clearly labelled where it appears, and its commercial nature is not disguised as independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where used, they are identified as such and are not presented as documentary photographs.
Shared places deserve clear thinking
Rural life is shaped by decisions about land, facilities and services. We make those questions easier to follow without pretending every place has the same answer.
